For MOIRÉ's Sister Crop M!lk Chocolate series, we look toward the future by incorporating sustainably grown plants with meticulously sourced cocoa beans from the same country of origin. In this bar, we celebrate the rich farming history of Chiapas, Mexico, by substituting heirloom Tuxpeño corn in place of the animal products traditionally used in milk chocolate. We aim to support the economic vitality of agricultural communities abroad, and simultaneously reduce the environmental impact of dairy farming.
