We just turned 1!

Can’t believe it’s already been one year since we donned our face masks, doubled up on the hand sanitizer and nervously opened the doors of our shop for the very first time. It’s been a strange year with some downright dark moments that made us wonder what the actual fuck was going in the world, but thanks to the support and encouragement of a bunch of really cool folks (our customers, of course), it was also a wonderful year full of hope. We are so grateful for all of our fabulous makers who continued to fulfill our orders amid a global pandemic and to all of the customers, friends and new faces who helped support our small business over the past year. We look forward to seeing you all in year two. Here’s to the future!

December 15th marked our little shop’s 6-month anniversary and the beginning of a holiday rush that left us absolutely breathless. It’s been a long, crazy (at times downright dark) year, but today we are feeling truly blessed. We are so thankful for the love, encouragement and support we received over these past six months and especially over the past few weeks. When we shop small, we support our local community, we champion independent craftspeople and artisans, we promote fair trade and encourage sustainable manufacturing practices. We cannot thank you enough for joining us in these important endeavors. We wish you all a very happy holiday and a healthy and peaceful new year. We can’t wait to see what great things can happen in 2021!

Finally opening our doors!

In accordance with Phase 2 of New Jersey’s coronavirus recovery effort, we are thrilled to announce that we will finally be opening our doors on Monday, June 15th. We will be following CDC Guidelines and social distancing rules, allowing a limited number of customers in the shop at one time, maintaining safe distances and taking special care to clean and sanitize products and high-traffic areas regularly. And of course we all need to wear our masks!

Forging ahead.

Our world has literally been turned upside down. Never could we have imagined when we first began this journey that everything would be put on hold due to a global pandemic. Recent weeks have been tough for, well, EVERYONE as we navigate a new normal amid the coronavirus pandemic. Like everyone else, we wish for the collective health of our family, friends and neighbors above all else. And although times are tough right now, there is comfort knowing that we will all overcome this together. We are continuing our work on the shop and when the time is right we will be ready to finally open our doors and serve a community strengthened by the events of this year and more focused than ever on supporting each other.
